Emma Milne Interiors chose the dark brown Landmark Tatton oak in a 'reclaimed look' finish in both herringbone and mixed-width plank for the refurbishment of a 4-storey Victorian home. The open-plan kitchen and dining room on the lower ground floor feature the timber in a classic herringbone parquet. On the ground and first floor, the same Landmark Tatton in a plank provides continuity to the different levels. Here the mixed-width format and rustic-grade timber give further authenticity and character. Together with the ‘reclaimed look’ treatment, the surfaces give the impression of mellowed, aged oak floors.
