The dark, textured Magma Mayon oak in a rustic wide-board fitted throughout this modern home, contrasts beautifully with the white walls. It anchors the eclectic scheme, which features antiques as well as modern furniture pieces in many different timbers. The 225mm wide planks link the different rooms seamlessly and are used to clad the staircase, finished with a square edged-bullnose. Under the staircase a pantry with double doors is clad in our end-grain timber, adding another pattern and texture. Even the small bathroom has a touch of Mayon in the shape of wall cladding.
