The wide planks of dark rustic Magma Mayon oak offer a solid foundation as well as character to this East London bedroom in a newly built apartment. The same wide plank oak flooring flows from the landing throughout the first floor providing a strong monochrome background for the owners' colourful furniture and art collection. In the shower room, the timber is used as wall cladding, continuing the monochrome scheme.
