This unique, random geometric pattern of small end-grain blocks is formatted on a single tile, which can then be repeated to create floor and wall surfaces. Inspired by ancient Venetian mosaics and 19th-century Parisian wooden cobblestones, it brings the charm of end-grain craftsmanship into a modern context.
The deep dark tones of Opus Black are achieved by burning. As the soft wood has been removed during this burning process, the character of the oak is therefore more rustic. Invisible lacquer seals the hardened surface and contributes to the resistance to wear and tear.
